Employee & Women Grievance Redressal Cell
The term “Employee and Women Grievance” refers to the grievance at the individual level, which has occurred because of some oversight on the part of the University or its employees, students, etc., which lead to some discontent or dissatisfaction on the part of Employee(s).
The formation of Employee & Women Grievance Cell is to promote and maintain a conducive and unprejudiced environment if they are facing any infringement of their rights. It is a measure to develop responsive and accountable attitude among SGRRITS officials to ensure that, there is no laxity in terms of fair deal with them. It is to deal with the complex situations in a tactful manner to lessen the condition felt to be oppressive or dissatisfied.
Objective of Employee & Women Grievance Redressal Cell
1. One point service centre to redress Employee & Women Grievance regarding academic and administrative problems. 2. To support Employee & Women, who have been deprived of the services of SGRRITS, for which they are entitled. 3. To make officials of SGRRITS responsive, accountable and courteous in dealing with the Employees & Women. 4. To ensure effective solution to the Employees & Women Grievance, which are impartial and fair. 5. To co-ordinate between Employee & Women and Departments/Sections to redress the grievances.

Women Grievance Redressal Cell
The Women’s Grievance Redressel Cell of SGRRITS is established in accordance with the directives of Honourable Supreme Court of India to ensure safety, security and dignity of women. In view of the increasing number of girl students in the campus, Women Grievance Redressal Cell makes every effort to ensure that the girls feel at home. The cell resolves common problems of girl students and also takes up individual cases of sexual harassment, if any.
To take action against complaints of the informal and formal means by any female employee or student as specified in objective of the Grievance cell. To provide information regarding counselling and support services on SGRRITS.
Interaction with women to give them motivation and information regarding law and rules which protect them from harassment.
